Citius, Altius, Fortius

Well, here I am watching the Olympic opening ceremonies (on tape delay) while writing a blog entry. No doubt I’ll continue to write such entries over the course of the games. Here are some initial thoughts, reactions, and notables:

• Brian Williams is already grating.
• In addition to watching the games themselves, I’m also watching my wife participate in the Knitting Olympics—Laneius? I have to particularly get behind this because what she’s knitting is a sweater for me. Thanks, love! (See also the nifty buttons on the side bar—this blog is troll-friendly!)
